The Sardar Patel University a renowned University that was established in 1955.  It is located in Vallabh, Vidyanagar.

The basic eligibility for candidates interested in pursuing the course is to have obtained a degree of  BSC in Microbiology, BSC in Biochemistry , BSC in Industrial Microbiology , BSC in Home science FN/FSQC, from the same University , or of any other equivalent University that is recognized or BSc (Agriculture with Home Science with special papers in Foods and Nutrition), or any other examination that can be considered as an equivalent will meet the criteria for admission to MSc Food Biotechnology. The course is a two year full time course comprising of four semester.

The total seats available are 16 and the total fees are Rs 1.04 Lakhs

The application is done through an online mode and the admission is done on the merit of the concerned entrance exams and also is based on the performance in the Bachelors degree
