Hello,
You can take admission in engineering after polytechnic by giving entrance exam for government colleges, and you can also do it from any private colleges but remember private colleges have their own entrance exam and merit badge.

If you have diploma degree (polytechnic ) and you want to do b tech engineering .
Most of colleges provide direct second year admission after diploma as lateral entry .
You should apply for lateral entry seats .
