B pharma is a 4 year undergraduate course that is compulsory for anybody who wants to be a pharmacist. There are several colleges in India that offer this course like university institute of pharmaceutical sciences( Chandigarh), institute of chemical technology (Mumbai), KLE college of pharmacy (Hubli) etc. Entrance exams conducted for admission in B.pharma are BITSAT, WBJEE, TSEAMCET. Minimum Eligibility criteria for these exams is a student must have passed 10+2 or higher secondary examination in science subjects. In some Colleges this entrance exam maybe followed with group discussions and personal interviews.

Direct admission is allowed in BITS for board toppers.
