There is only one M.Tech course that Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi provides and that is M.Tech in in Agricultural Engineering. Master of Technology in Agricultural Engineering (Soil and Water Conservation Engineering) is two years (4 Semester) full-time Department of Farm Engineering postgraduate program and it is offered by the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. The admission is made strictly on the basis of merit index in the PET. So you cannot get admissions in BHU for M.Tech through GATE. A candidate must have passed the B.Tech (Agricultural Engg/Civil Engineering.)/B.E.(Agricultural Engg./Civil Engineering) recognized by the University to be eligible for this course.
