Eligibility: You need to have a bachelor's degree in computer application . Most MCA institutes will accept graduates from other streams like commerce, arts, science, and computer science as well. You need to have more than 50% of your bachelors degree. You need to have more than 55% in your 12th standard.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Eligibility Criteria

1. The candidate must have passed Graduation in BCA or equivalent from a recognized board.
2. The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 60% in the qualifying examination.
3. The candidates who are in their final year of degree can also apply for admission.

MCA ( Master of Computer Applications ) is a 2-year PG degree course. The minimum  eligibility criteria for MCA course is a Bachelor’s degree in computer application (BCA) or in any related field with mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class 12.

For admission to MCA colleges there are various entrance exams like MAH MCA CET, NIMCET, OJEE, UPSEE, IPU CET etc. By using score of these tests you can take admission in many good colleges like JNU, Calcutta University, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, University of Hyderabad, Anna University on the basis of these entrance tests.
