The basic eligibility criteria for joining DRDO is that Candidates should have passed a Bachelor's Degree in Science/ 3-years Diploma in Engineering/Technology/Computer Science/allied subjects in required discipline from a recognized Institute. Candidates who are pursuing their final year degree in any stream are also eligible to apply for DRDO 2020.

There are many ways to get into DRDO, some of them can be:

1. Try to have a project in collaboration with DRDO as a researcher or student.

2. You can get into DRDO through GATE exam to become a scientist.

3. After having a PhD just in 2 years of pg can make you to apply directly under ROSSA scheme, it can directly get you into scientist- C.

4. As you mentioned you are an jee aspirant, then if you will be able to get into nit or iit then it can really make this easy for you to become a scientist from campus interview.
