You have many career opportunities as a Mechanical engineer in both private and public sector
You can get into PSUs through gate or you can write their entrance exam to get a job.
The reputed public sectors are

Hello dear!!! 

There are many ways that one can get a core job on basis if a mechanical engineering degree. The most taken way is via getting a job under college placements section. And If you clear gate with an exemplerary score then with that score you can directly contact core companies in your area and show your command over subject by that core gate certificate.
