Greetings, aspirant!

There are various posts in the banking sector that a candidate can opt for.

A graduate can apply for either a clerical post or a PO post. In private sector banks, recruitments are based on qualifications like MBA, CFA, Law background etc. A background in banking and finance can facilitate your ability to get a job in the baking sector.

As for public sector banks, a candidate has to appear for the IBPS exam. Based on the candidate's merit in this examination, the hiring process of a majority of the public banking sector is influenced. Apart from IBPS, SBI also conducts an exam to fill in vacancies for clerical and PO posts. Similarly, RBI and NABARD too select candidates by conducting their exams.

For most banks, the basic eligibility criteria requires a candidate to have cleared their graduation in any discipline with a minimum aggregate score of 55% of equivalent grade.

Hope this information helps.

Best of luck!!
