Most of the colleges take admission in BSc agriculture on the basis of the 10 + 2 higher secondary exam merit.

The admission is merit based. Fr example, if a college gets a student scoring highest among the students applied for the course, with 80 % aggregate in 12th with science, they will consider the candidate for the admission first.

Apart from this, very few conduct their own entrance exam. But these colleges are very rare.
