To Get an admission into top NIT campus , you have to get rank below 10k. for low ranked NIT campus, You have to get rank below 50k. for sure admission.

For Top rank IIT campus like bombay, delhi, hyderabad:- You have to get rank below 100 for general category.

If you want to get admission in any of the NIT or IIT than you have to qualify JEE-Main for NITs and JEE-Advance for IITs with good score.

It does not matter in which branch you want to take admission whether it is CSE or any other.

Note that you should pass your 10+2 with minimum 75% marks along with physics, mathematics and chemistry as compulsory subjects.

Also keep in mind if you want to get CSE branch only than you should try to score very good marks.
