Hi , hope you are doing great.

For CDS, exam you can start with the ncert books of class 6-12 for history, geography , economics etc. to make your base strong.
After doing this you can go for other books which includes static GK topics like lucent , Arihant and also you can refer manorama yearbook.
Along with it , read a newspaper daily and some magazines related to current affairs topics like competitive success review, pratiyogita darpan etc.
