Hi Raman Jaglan,

I am studying MBBS in PGIMS, Rohtak.

The most probable reason for such a high cutoff in Haryana Colleges were due to the level of NEET. It seems to be very easy wrt previous years ones. So student scored a pretty high score due to which the cutoof was so high in haryana for Govt. Colleges that despite of increase in Seats, Cutoff remains so hifh as compared to previous years.

Hope this answer might help you to clear your query.

All the best

The cut off scores have gone surprisingly high not just in Haryana but also in All India 15% quota seat allotment process.
The reason is simple, the number of aspirants are increasing every year and there is greater awareness regarding the examination, how to prepare for the same and more number of coaching institutions to guide you through the process.
Also, the paper was pretty simple last year and hence more number of students ended up performing well.
That explains higher cutting off for the year 2017.

Hello Raman,

Cutoff is the minimum score needed to qualify neet.
In order to get a seat in a government college you should aim high. A good score would be 560-600.

Goodluck.

Hope this helps.
