Home state ranks are not different ranks, the JEE Mains rank that you get is the only sole rank that you have, and in case you have a category reservation, then you will have a rank in that as well, but there is no rank for home states. That's just a privilege that you will have for colleges in your home state. Colleges accept candidates of their own state, with higher ranks as well.
