Prep should have been done well in advanced.

• Nail the fundamentals in every concept. Try to gain confidence in knowing as much as possible in PCM.
• Refer to previous question papers. There is a certain pattern that is followed always, and you can save a lot of time by recognizing those patterns in each subject and studying accordingly instead of trying to have vague goals like mastering Calculus. Try to find what out what exactly do they ask and what exactly are they going to test. Work on that
• Keep practicing with a timer. Initially, you’re going to take a lot longer than required, but as speed and confidence builds up you get better.
• In any PCM entrance paper, most people have advised to take up the chemistry section first as it involves less calculations and problem solving and more theory based questions. Thats what I followed as well. For the stipulated 180 minutes, try to finish Chemistry in 45 mins, Physics in 50–60 minutes and the rest for Math; or any other way that you find easy.
• Keep 10–15 mins time to spare in the end to revise the entire paper.
