Hello Lokesh,

Thanks for connecting with Careers 360.

NIT is considered as one of the top institute offering engineering courses so it's cut off score is also very high and in order to secure this college you have to be consistent in your preparations.

Following link will guide you regarding how to prepare for JEE and which books to prefer,

I will suggest you to assign 2 days of week for every subject and solve mock tests on the weekend for the topics that you have prepared in that week which will help you to understand which topic needs more preparations. Also don't keep anything for optional.

All the Best.

Hello,

You will have to study with a plan.I am suggesting you few tips that might help you.

1. Analyse the syllabus wholly.
2. Highlight the topics which you haven't read yet, and start with them
3. Make a routine and divide the timing for the three subjects.
4. I would suggest for the very recommended NCERT  for physics and chemistry.
For maths, practice from R.D Sharma or RS Agarwal.
5. After completion of every chapter, you practice the DDP and study material of any good coaching or else, practice previous years questions
6. For physics, i would recommend you to study and practice D.C Pandey.
For chemistry, ncert +RC Mukherjee(physical) is best.

Give your best everyday with all heart and soul and you will definitely get you your desired college.

I hope this helps.

Hello,

Below are some of the mantras to crack JEE 2020 from careers360:

  • Refer only those books that are absolutely necessary for preparation. Don’t waste your time on books which are unnecessary
  • Learn the basic concepts first. Don’t jump directly to reference books without building the concepts from NCERT
  • Believe in yourself
  • Don’t mug up the topics. Understand and learn the topic in depth will help you with your concepts
  • It is important that you get adequate sleep and rest so that you can stay fresh and give the exam in the right state of mind
  • Since health is wealth - stay physically and mentally fit

I would also suggest you to check out other detailed info on careers360's site where all the important chapters along with the weightage and many other topics related to JEE.

Hope this answer helps and all the very best to you!
