For the preparation, first know the exam pattern and syllabus and prepare as per it only. To prepare SSC-JE(Junior Engineer), one has to judge his/her command over SSC-JE syllabus/Pattern.

Practice previous years question papers :

You can solve previous years questions papers, sample papers and answer them like you are attempting the real exam in 2 hours only. If you try to finish the exam within that time only it will improve your time management during the actual exam and will certainly give you extra time to re-attempt questions.. When you are answering the questions read them properly and only answer those that you are sure about because of the negative marking(-0.25). Adapting yourself to the exam environment can help take away any fear related to the exam. Attempting mock test will reduce your nervousness during the exam.

Make a Study Plan: You should design a study plan which will have fixed study hours and also incorporate some small breaks and other daily activities. 

Make plan according to test marks you practiced and attend in online.

P.s  Daily update yourself with the latest current affairs and general knowledge.

A lot of candidates fail in the test because they are not able to attempt all the questions. Do not get stuck on a single question and lose out on half the marks. Be wise with your time.
