Hello,

To remember examples of morphology in flowering plants you can use them in daily walk of life for example like, if you had lady-finger and potatoes for lunch you can say that like I had Solanum tuberosum and Abelmoschus esculentus for lunch. If you see a cat passing call it Felis catus instead. You saw a flower look for its aestivation whether valvate, twisted, imbricate or vexillary. You slice a tomato or cucumber look for its placentation - marginal, axile, parietal, free central or basal.

You can also try making mnemonics as much as possible for this chapter. Believe me, it will help you alot.

Eg- LADY OF CHINA TWISTED THE COTTON

Here,

Lady = Ladyfinger

China = China rose

Cotton = Cotton

Twisted = Twisted Aestivation

Make your own mnemonics. Revise it as much as possible. The chapter will then become one of the easiest ones.

Hope this helps you...
