Hi aspirant,

Following are the eligibilities you need to fulfill to be a legal journalist:

  • Candidate must have completed a valid law degree at UG or PG level.
  • Candidate must have completed the law degree from a recognized university approved by UGC and BCI.
  • The candidate must be able to speak fluently in the respective language.
  • Candidate must have a good knowledge about journalism preferably with a diploma course or a certificate.
  • High proficiency required for writing as well as speaking in the respective language.
  • If the candidate has a prior experience via internships at law firms, then it will be easy for them to understand the cases better.

Therefore, since you have already completed a UG degree in law, you seem to be eligible. Please consider the above points mentioned to make your chances better to be a legal journalist.
