Get NCERT syllabus for physics chemistry and mathematics. Prepare as per syllabus.  As your are starting from 1st year you will get enough time for each and every chapter. For any doubt ask your teacher, friends. There are private sites which help students like YouTube and official webpage of NCERT.
Step1 : you have to understand like you have to realise what you have read.
Step 2. You have to practice implementing what you understood like formula, theory to solve numerical and MCQ respectively.
Step1. You have to continue all the steps continuously so that you won't forget what you read.
For any hard concept, draw diagram or flow chart. Try to understand and make it a process of learning. Don't do just go on reading.

I think you are in 11 class, so you have a lot of time so first keep your mind fresh.
Study regularly your syllabus, keep in mind class 11 is very important in JEE. Direct 1 line questions are being asked from NCERT.
Have a good mentor, mentoring is very important in the preparation, do a good schooling or coaching take a good preparation.
There are many books you can consult for JEE, study throughout the book.
You can seek help from careers360 also.
In your exam time
Revise all the short notes, important topic, marked one
Practice all the question paper of last 10 years because last year questions are repeated generally.
Give importance to NCERT because question are directly asked from there.
Do mock test. It will surely benefit you.
Design a strict time table and follow that
Never leave important topics, clear them.
Be relaxed.
