Most institutes shortlist students for the course on the basis of their performance in a relevant entrance test. Some institutes conduct their own entrance tests for offering admission. Admission process may vary from college to college.
Often, a round of Personal Interview is also conducted for assessment of the candidates aptitude, in cases of some institutes.
Some institutes in the country also offer admission on the basis of the candidates obtained merit at the 10+2 level. It depends on which institution you want to apply .
