Hello Jashan,

If someone has done diploma then he/she can get direct admission in 2nd year of BTech it is known as lateral entry course. Universities like JNU, Lovely Professional University, Anna University etc provides lateral entry programmes for diploma holders. So, you can check the other information related to it on the official website of these universities. these procedures totally depend on State to State (if you are not applying for central universities) and it is better to go to a particular college website or university website where you are planning to get admission.

You can also apply for LEET exam. After clearing this exam, you will be directly admitted to the second year of  B.Tech course.

Hope this helps.
