Hey,

VIT offers admissions in Engineering courses through Direct Entry in Second Year Programme. You must be eligible to take admission in lateral entry process with these:

1. Candidate should have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks from approved college by AICTE.

2. Candidate should be Indian.

For admissions, you need to appear for Exam conducted by VIT for lateral entry programme. Then you are eligible to take admission in VIT colleges.

No, you can not take admission in lateral entry, as VIT does not offer admission through Lateral Entry. Admission is only offered in the first year of B.Tech and that too thrrough VITEEE.
