Jadavpur Unuversity is a state level university located in Kolkata. It has two campuses located at Jadavpur and Salt Lake. All the courses offered by this university are UGC approved and offered across four fields, including arts, science, engineering and Technology and interdisciplinary studies.

To take admission in B.Sc course in this university, candidates need to have passed 10+2 examination from any recognised board in Science stream with Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and with at least an average of 75% marks obtained in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
