The pattern of both these examinations remain almost same.However COMEDk is for both government as well as private college and it is entrance examination for these institutions.However Unigauge is for only for the Private Universities and it is the entrance examinations for admission in private universities only.This is the main difference.However the syllabus and the course curriculum remains almost similar.It is not tough as such.If you have prepared well for JEE Main or engineering entrance examinations then it wont be tough.However You need to maintain a good focus and consistency in order to pass the examinations.
