Maharaja Sayajirao University is a Government institution established in the year 1949. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses like B.A, B.Des, M.C.A, B.B.A, B.tech etc.

Many big companies like TATA Power, Siemens, ABB, Infosys visit this campus for recruitment. Around 80% students from both Computer & Electrical Engineering were placed with an average package of 3.5 lakh rupees per annum . Some meritorious student even got salary package as high as 12-15 lakhs per annum .
