Well dear,the mistake in the name of your parents name or the surname on 12th marksheet won't affect your counselling,But,while you fill up the details at the time of admission,do fill the corrected names and let the concerned authorities know that you have an error in the sheets but you are writing the correct names while admission,Also,make sure to apply for a correction in your 12th marksheet as its an extremely imporant document and has a wide use in taking admission or applying anywhere in the future.
