Hi. A caste validity certificate is a proof of one's caste, especially if he or she belongs to castes such as Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe or OBC. It is important to apply in educational institutions, or for reservation in the employment sector. It is different from a caste certificate as it authenticates the same. In order to obtain caste validity certificate, applicant shall go to the respective Tehsil / Revenue / circle Office OR the respective office of “Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department”as applicable.
