Hello Shivangi, previously the maximum limit was 3 till the age of 25 for general /obc candidates. However from 2018, the limit of number of attempts has been revoked by the Supreme Court. So you can now give as many attempts as you need till the age of 25. If you are from SC/ST, tge maximum age limit is 30.

Please rest assured, acckrding to the latest Supreme Court ruling, students can appear as many times as they want till their maximum age limit. All the best!
