I am 2017 passout btech graduate . is there any problem if I appear cat in 2018 with no work experience.??

There will be no problem at all. Only thing is to prepare a valid reason for you taking a drop and also do some relevant activities along with CAT exam preparations. This will be enough to justify your decision if youbare asked in interview.

Believe me if you prepare very well for CAT exam, get a very high percentile and on a call you go through a decent interview then this question will hardly matter in your selection procedure. On the official terms there are no boundations.

I would highly recommend you to focus on CAT exam preparations sincerely and do a few relevant online or offline courses. This will show you have learnt and gain something in this one year drop along with CAT preprations.

No but you are 2017 graduate but appear cat in 2018 so it will be 2 years gap .... my suggestion to pursue a course ...... OR search jobs and also prepare for cat
