Dear Sreelakshmi, during your 12th class you should appear for NEET which is the entrance examination for admission into Medical, Dental and Ayush colleges across India. AFMC, Pune also conducts admissions based on NEET score only. To be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology as your core subjects. It is 40% for PWD and 45% for SC/ST/OBC. Once you qualify in NEET, AFMC will release its online applicatiins and its own cut off. Once you qualify for AFMC cut off, there will be a ToElr test conducted followed by a Psychological Assessment and a Personal Interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of overall performance. And then a Medical test will be conducted for Shirtlisted candidates. Once you are deemed 'fit' you will join the Medical College. After due completion of your course, as a part of your bond you will have to serve the Army Hospital.
