Hello Johnnambrose,

JEE Mains exam is conducted for admissions to various NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other colleges. It is conducted annually by NTA and also acts as the first step to admissions in IITs.

Since the syllabus of JEE Mains resembles the syllabus of board exams quite a bit, you should be able to perform well if you have prepared well for boards. One thing you should do is practice multiple choice questions and do time bound tests.
