Dear Harsh

First of all let me clear you one thing that please don't be seated to study for the JEE mains preparation on your hourly basis because if suppose you seated for 3 hours and you read only two topics then the hourly based study will not be of no use. So better prepare your timetable such that it includes all the subject of PCM domain with having the proper timings to every subject and try to manage your hourly studies based upon your interest . Since you are in class 11th then first try to build your concepts strong from NCERT books then after go for the other reference books, mock test and previous year JEE papers .

All the best

It doesn't matter how many hours you study what matters is quality of study .so try to read qualitatively not quantitatively try to search for the syllabus of jee and according to that prepare your daily targets .That will help you a lot and try to complete that target by the day ends you can also put some conditions over yourself like if you complete your target you will play your favourite game or watch your favourite show anything you wish it will give you a motive to complete your target ..I hope my answer will prove to be helpful for you

Hello Harsh,

The main thing is that you have to build your concentration level, then only you can stay focused on your goal. I would like to say that please limit the study time between 10 to 12 hours and please increase your concentration and speed of reading, understanding and solving the problems then you will not face any kind of difficulty.
For preparation of exam, the most important thing is your confidence after that you should know the whole syllabus and make your plan properly for learning new chapters, solving the numericals and revision. All three things should be the part of your preparation strategy in daily routine.
Your basics in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics should be very clear upto 12th std. You should read the NCERT books for basics. Then HC Verma for Physics, RD Sharma for Mathematics, OP Tendon for Physical & Inorganic Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry of "Arihant Publication" for detail or extra knowledge.
You should also try to solve the previous years question papers, this helps too much and you should also give the mock test to rectify yourself and build your confidence level.
