Its a great stream &  nothing have to worry about. Just fill up some competitive forms like jee mains, bitsat, vitte,kiit, wbjee & other enginnering exams of your intrest. After giving exam, you will get your rank card & these will decide which branch should you get. But there are some good private colleges like Aditya enginnering which will provide you direct admission in your favourite branch. & this college have good placement records.

its great stream while after 12th you need write the state entrance exam like for maharastra MHCET, karnataka KCET after getting rank you can join by matching there rank ,

where there are private universities like SRM , VIT, GITAM they have there private exam based on your rank they allot branches
