Hey, there!

If you have failed in the CBSE 12th Accountancy exam, there is no need to worry. You can appear for the CBSE Class 12th compartment exam for the same subject. To appear for the CBSE 12th Class supplementary exam, you need to prepare for the exam following the CBSE 12th Class Accountancy syllabus .

The CBSE board conducts the compartment exam after the results are announced. You can fill out the CBSE compartment form to apply for the Accountancy supplementary exam. Check out the CBSE compartment exam dates to learn more.

All the best!

Hello Mona

As you are a Class 12th CBSE Commerce Student and have failed in Accountancy, you will be shown "PASS" as you have passed in five subjects including the additional subject (also, once check what is written on your result through CBSE result website).

The Accountancy subject will show "FAILED" or "INELIGIBLE".

It is up to you if you want to give supplementary exam and upon your future goals. Because in the future some organisations may ask for full PASS and while some may not.

Thank You!!!

Hello,

If you have failed in one subject (Accountancy) out of six in CBSE Class 12, your result will be "Compartment" .

This means you can appear for the compartment exam in Accountancy. If you pass in the compartment exam, you will be considered as passed overall.

Hope it helps !

Hello aspirant,

Since you're a CBSE Commerce student and have unfortunately failed in one subject Accountancy your result will be marked as Compartment. But don’t panic or feel disheartened! This simply means that you’ll have to appear for a compartment exam in that subject, which CBSE usually conducts a few weeks after the main board results. The good part is that this is just a second chance to improve your score and pass the subject. And once you clear the exam, your marksheet will be updated just like other students, and you’ll be eligible for college admissions without any issue.Start revising now focus on the basics, practice past questions, and stay calm. Many students clear the compartment exam successfully, and CBSE gives a fair chance to everyone. You’ve got this just treat it like a small hurdle, not a failure.

Thank you and all the best!
