Hi there, you can switch from science to commerce but not from commerce to science. So you are not eligible for the program. LPU offers over 250 programs, you can opt for programs in commerce and management, statistics etc. Hope this helps. Good Luck

So, you have an option of doing a diploma in automobile engineering which is a three year program. After thta you can go ahead and make career in automobile engineering.

To get admission in diploma course, you have to seat for an entrance test too.

If you want to study automobile engineering after finishing your 12th ( commerce), you can do so by taking a Diploma in Automobile Engineering. It is a three-year programme. After completing your Diploma, you can apply for admission to B.Tech Automobile Engineering under the lateral entry system, which means you would be admitted immediately into the second year of B.Tech Automobile Engineering after completing your Diploma. To be admitted to the Diploma programme, you must first pass an entrance test (JET) - Joing Entrance Test. Every state has a government polytechnic that provides a diploma in automotive engineering.
