I am a computer science engineering student. But I want to give gate exam in electrical engineering branch. Can I do this.

yes you can definately do this there's no such compulsion that the student has to do the masters with the same subject he has done graduation from. But you need to study hard for this as the subjects of ECE is very different from that of CSE and you need to clear the cutoff in order to need the admission.

If I clear gate from ECE  than for M Tech which branch I can apply. Computer science is my B Tech Branch. Can i get admission in IIT in ECE Branch.
