Getting an IIT is not impossible but good branch and older IITs are very difficult.
Check this josaa ranks 2017 for details. It will give you an idea of past years opening and closing ranks.

Hii Devyani... Firstly congrats for that great acheivement. But getting a good iit in good branch is not easy with that rank. You can go through the last year cutoff ranks in the official link given here. http://josaa.win/ . Hope this helps you.
