The SC category closing ranks for top NITs like Rourkela, Warangal, Trichy, Allahbad , Delhi are well under 15000 AIR which corresponding to range of 185-215 for CSE department.

Moreover, the cutoff range can vary as owr following paramters:-

Total candidates appearing and their performance
Previous year trends
Seats allotted
Difficulty levels

The cutofffor SC Category is much lower and hence, anythibg above 200 would be considered safe dor Admission into CSE.
