Eligibility criteria in Guahati University:

The student must have BA  degree with a honors course as a major subject or BA degree with atleast 45%  in the concerned subject. Candidate must have 10+2+3 pattern in their system of study.

Admission process in Guahati university:

The admissions will be conducted on the basis of merit in the Qualifying Examination based on G.U Rules.

Yes you can apply.The basic requirment or eligibility to pursue MA Sociology is you need to have a graduation degree in any stream from any recognized university.In addition to that you also need to have a passing 10+2 board examination certificate.This is the basic requirment to apply for MA Sociology.
