Don't be sad if you not got that much marks in jee mains . As there are lot of opportunities for you yet to come. See , if you are not confident to take drop for the jee mains then i prefer you should go for the admission in any college and then prepare for the GATE examination. As GATE is also a national level of exam so you have to be consistent and determined from starting. It is a good choice to take admission rather than droping for a year if you have not that much confidence to acquire a good marks so that you will have a iit or nit.
