Hey there

IB is basically an experimental course rather than focusing on the theoretical concepts like CBSE. They call it diploma program to there 11th and 12th. Also you will not allowed to choose wide variety of subjects in IB only specific subjects. The benefits of IB is when you want to do study abroad as it is recognised by many foreign universities unlike CBSE. But schools are less having IB, they are expensive than CBSE schools.

Good luck
