Hi Pragati,

Your Domicile certificate will decide the quota you will get for your NEET exam.

Domicile certificate or residence certificate is a necessary legal document for proving that a person is having a residence in a particular state.

Criteria for providing this certificate vary from state to state.

Karnataka state says that if your parents have lived in Karnataka for more than 6 years then you can say you belong to Karnataka.

Any person from the State of Maharashtra could obtain this certificate, provided that he/she is a resident in the State for the last 15 years.

Now according to your situation, you can better judge which quota you will be getting.

Hope this information helped you.

All the best.
