Yes it is possible, first complete your Dipolma in Mechanical Engineering. Then you can apply for B. Tech/ B.E in Mechanical Engineering into any coolege of your desire. You have apply under Lateral entry mode. So you will be directly starting your course from 2nd year. for you B. Tech duration will be 3 years.

Now the selection process depends from college to college, some college select candidates based on Diploma score whereas some college conduct entrance exam. Merit list is made and counselling is conducted for admission.
