For regular mode, M.Tech programmes admissions would be first given to those applicants who are GATE qualified. You must possess a valid and qualified GATE scorecard. Selection will be done on the basis of the merit based on GATE score. If in case of a tie in score, the candidate older in age will be given priority. The merit list may change subject to verification of GATE Score Card and other information from the original documents/mark sheets at the time of Counselling.

For regular mode programmes (Except for M.Tech. Biotechnology i.e. there shall be no CET conducted for it and admission will be done with a valid and qualified score in GATE only). If seats remain vacant after the admissions of the GATE candidates, the seat would be offered to CET qualified candidates based on their rank of CET.

Important note for students appearing through GATE:

For admission on the basis of GATE Score, you must be present for document verification as per the following schedule at their given venue. In case, you do not appear for document verification, then you will not be considered for admission on the basis of GATE Score.

Display of List of GATE based Applicants: 14.05.2019 (Tuesday)

Display of schedule for verification of documents: 21.05.2019 (Tuesday)

Verification of documents: 03.06.2019 (Monday)

Declaration of Final Merit List: 18.06.2019 (Tuesday)

For admission to programmes in weekend mode:

Students should take a printout of the CET application form as proof of identity of the candidate at the time of counselling/admission.

Merit list shall be prepared on the basis of last qualifying examination only. No CET shall be conducted for admission to M.Tech. (CSE/ECE)-weekend programme.

IPU CET M.Tech Application Form 2019:

You will have to fill and submit the application form of IPU CET M.Tech 2019 on or before April 29, 2019(for all subjects except biotechnology) and for Biotechnology before the third week of May 2019. The online IPU CET 2019 application form is available from March 22.
