There are no branch-specific requirements for GATE; any student pursuing BTech or 3 years of Bsc and 2 years of Bsc can take the test to get admission to various IITs and NITs for master's programmes such as CS and Biotechnology.

There's no branch specific qualification for GATE, any student who is doing BTech or 3 years of Bsc and 2 years bsc, can give GATE examination for admission in different IITs and NITs for desired masters course like CS, Biotechnology etc.

So you will be eligible for GATE examination.
