The format followed by your college is a type conversion of the normal semester system, i.e.,

• Part 1= Semester 1+ Semester 2.
• Part 2= Semester 3+ Semester 4.
• Part 3= Semester 5+ Semester 6.

So during the time of applying for CAT, you indefinitely fall under the 4th semester criteria and thus easily meet the minimum eligibility norms. So therefore in the application form you are supposed to enter 4th semester as your time of study.
