For getting into merchant navy , candidate should have passed their bachelors either in mechanical engineering or naval architecture stream. In my opinion , getting into merchant navy after bsc  is not a good option at all , because todays scenario are very changed , scope of bsc in merchant navy is waste of time unless and untill you  have lot of money and for freshers their is no way that they will get a even a ship

Yes, you can join Indian Army after B.Sc. Physics by writing Combines Defence Service Entrance exam. It is conducted twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II for an entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS. You must be in between 19 and 24 years of age, with reference to the first day of the month, in which the training will begin.
