Hi,
First of all, you can definitely join Indian Navy through the route of NDA, which is an entrance exam after class 12th or PUC. However, there is no basic criteria set for the qualifying marks. Thus, as per the eligibility criteria of NDA, for Army, candidates need to have passed class 12th or PUC in any stream, while for Navy and Air Force, you need to have passed class 12th or PUC with Physics and Mathematics subjects. Thus, you are eligibile to join Indian Navy on the basis of 12th/PUC. But age criteria is there - 16.5 years to 19.5 years. Only candidates falling in this age bracket, would be considered eligible to apply. You also need to be unmarried and a male candidate only.
However, there is another stream for joining the Indian Navy – CDS. You can apply for CDS only after graduation degree or equivalent. For Indian Naval Academy, you need to have Engineering degree from a recognised University/Institution. You also need to be between the age of 20 to 24 years and must be unmarried too.
Hope that helps!
