It is almost impossible to get admission in B.Tech after pursuing 10+2 in arts because every engineering entrance exam, demand minimum certain % in physics chemistry mathematics . B.Tech. caricullum are based on learnings of Science of intermediate level. In engineering, you learn about application of various theorem of physics chemistry mathematics. So it will be very difficult for arts students to understand that theorem, application etc .

No, with arts stream you can not join b.tech .. For admission in b.tech:

 Educational Qualification: A pass in 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects....

So, only science stream students can join B.tech ...
