To become a scientist you need to have a lot of courage and a lot of time a lot of patience. And patience is the most important point that you need to have if you want to become a scientist. First it would be recommended that you complete your graduation, then you complete your post graduation degree. And after this you give net UGC or CSIR net then you complete your PhD from good institution successfully then theere  you become a scientist. While if you do b.tech in graduation and then you give GATE and if you get really good marks then you are eligible to get admission in IIT and then you can pursue your PhD from there.
